If You Change Plans 48 Hours or More Before the Event

Under our current weather policy, eligible weather-related customer changes made at least 48 hours before the event can receive a credit that can be used for up to one year.

If You Cancel Less Than 48 Hours Before

Customer weather cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event generally do not receive a credit. At that point equipment, routing, staffing, and other preparations may already be committed.

If Bounce Westminster Determines Conditions Are Unsafe

If we determine that weather conditions make operation unsafe, the customer can receive a full refund or reschedule with a credit valid for up to one year, according to the current rental policy.

Rain Is Not the Only Weather Issue

Outdoor equipment decisions can also be affected by wind, lightning, saturated ground, severe storms, and other site-specific safety conditions. A forecast icon by itself does not always tell the whole story.

Should You Cancel as Soon as Rain Appears in the Forecast?

Usually not. Maryland forecasts can change significantly in the days before an event. If your date is still several days away, keep watching the forecast and consider the full event plan before making a decision. For events with a pavilion, tent, or indoor backup, some portions of the event may still work even when the forecast is imperfect.

How to Build a Better Weather Plan

• Know your indoor or covered backup option before the week of the event.
• Avoid placing key activities in low areas that collect water.
• Keep the setup area clear so equipment can be moved or removed if needed.
• For public parks, understand both the park cancellation policy and the rental-company policy.
• Do not assume tents or pavilions make an inflatable safe in severe weather.
